The Menopausal Expat

Hello! I'm Jane Ordaz.

My mission is to help globally mobile women make the most of an international life AND their menopause.

For me, life is always a curious journey.

This curiosity led me to volunteer to teach English to refugees online, which in turn led me to become a Soliya Intercultural Dialogue Facilitator, which then brought me back to  my passion for coaching.

As expats, we give up a lot to gain a lot - not only did I gain a global community, a new perspective on life, trained and worked in a new profession - ultimately in a new country I found another way to ‘do me.’

I'm proud to be a one of a small group of Licensed Practitioners of Adapt and Succeed Abroad, a programme for those navigating the challenges of a global life  - the before, during and after.

Also, I feel honoured to a member of the Expat Coach Coalition, made up of an awesome group of international coaches and facilitators, with first hand knowledge of the emotional roller coaster of a new life -  and we’re all on a mission to support you to make it easier!

At "The Menopausal Expat" we want to create a rebellion - to stop the silence, to make it as easy to say ‘I’m menopausal’ as it is to say ‘I’m asthmatic.’

Because, many in the globally mobile population will go through this at some point, and yet we don’t talk about it.

It’s time to change.

We get that you’re likely to be feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and emotionally challenged.

We're here because our passion is for
helping individuals, and our clients frequently tell us, "I want to find my voice, follow my own path and succeed."

ABOUT

Jane Ordaz spent most of her working life in the arts and charitable sector in the UK supporting other people to tell and shape their stories be that as a funder, marketing manager or coach.

In 2007 she was the recipient of a Clore Cultural Leadership Fellowship and realised her true passion for helping individuals to find their voice, follow their own path and succeed. This led her to qualifiy as a Coach Mentor, accredited by EMCC in 2009.

On arrival in Mexico she trained to teach English, gaining an In Service Certificate in English Language Teaching (ICELT).

Seeing life as always a curious journey, her curiosity lead her to volunteer to teach English to refugees online which in turn led her to become a Soliya Intercultural Dialogue Facilitator.
